About Fatou Ceesay

Fatou Ceesay is Founder and President of Cairasu: All Things Alzheimer’s. Ms. Ceesay is also Owner and Manager of Cairasu Home Care. She is a native of The Gambia in West Africa and has been a resident of Madison, Wisconsin since 2001. Ms. Ceesay graduated from Edgewood College and the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She’s a proud mother of two children. For the past twenty years, Ceesay has worked with the elderly and disabled in all settings and in various capacities. She is a staunch advocate for Alzheimer’s and Dementia related issues and a proud recipient of Alzheimer’s Association’s 2017 Advocacy award. She was a nominee for the Business Forum’s 2014 ATHENA Young Professional Award. She serves on several nonprofit boards and is the Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Association, helping define and advocate for Alzheimer’s policy priorities. She enjoys family time, making meaningful contributions to the community, traveling, social outings, meeting new people, and building and nurturing relationships.
